stress1Healthy Holiday Stress Management Tip – Prioritize: Make a holiday master to – do list and break it down into holiday themes, such as, make a list of all the people you need to buy holiday gifts for and prioritize those names in terms of who is most important to least important, and then make a list of all the people you want to send holiday cards to and prioritize those names from most important to least important, and make a list of all the holiday traditions you want to participate in and prioritize those activities from most important to least important and so on.

Once you have the priorities figured out start on the most important items first and work your way down the list until time runs out….because what you don’t get done will be the things that weren’t a high priority and you will feel better about not getting them done. In other words, this allows you focus on what is most important and to let go of the least important things.
